REDSTEEL is often used in energy industry, mainly in production:
REDSTEEL is an attractive material for the use in architecture, mainly in creating the final look of facade as a whole or their parts. Its use has design-related, but also practical advantages (it is unnecessary to make finishes and this is a significant saving in economy mainly where adverse weather conditions prevail. Provided a suitable combination (weathering steel – stone – wood or concrete) its functional and aesthetic values are very high. Do not be afraid to use REDSTEEL even on private buildings – the result is always interesting and original.
The following options are available in our Storage & Service Centre in Kopřivnice:
We make use of our plentiful experience and references when designing and do our best to achieve sizeable savings on your funds.

Steel resistant to atmospheric corrosion | REDSTEEL | S355J2W(C) | February 2018 |
This Material Data Sheet applies to the metal sheet up to 50 mm thickness. Special structural steel resistant to atmospheric corrosion, brand REDSTEEL.
Basic specific of the steel called “Redsteel” lies in its ability to generate on its surface a coat of oxides (so-called “patina”), which is significantly slowing down the corrosion processes.
REDSTEEL will find application in the field of architecture, mainly for creating final look of facade or its parts. Its use has design-related, but also practical advantages (it is unnecessary to make finishes and this is a significant saving in economy mainly where adverse weather conditions prevail. Another application is in the energy industry – chimneys or bridge structures.

The steel may not contain more than 0.30% Mo and not more than 0.15% Zr.
The steel must contain at least one of the following elements:
Total Al ≥ 0.020%, 0.015 – 0.060%Nb, 0.02 – 0.12%V, 0.02 – 0.12%Ti. Should these elements be used in combination, at least one of them must be present in the minimum amounts stated.
